During the year Beauly plays host to a range of events and activities for you to enjoy.
During the Summer months we host pipe band evenings in the Square. It’s also your opportunity to see traditional Highland dancing courtesy of some of our talented local dancers. The dates are complete for 2022 and to be confirmed for 2023.
Beauly is the finishing line for the annual Highland Cross where hundreds of participants raise money for local charities by walking or running and then cycling from the west coast to the east coast of Scotland. Beauly Gala takes place in July each year and Blazin in Beauly in October attracts fiddlers of all ages and experience for a weekend of workshops, concerts and informal gatherings.
The Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival takes place a few miles from the village and Beauly Station is the nearest railway station. The Black Isle Show at Muir of Ord is also nearby.
You may find a ceilidh underway in one of the hotels – it’s an informal type of Scottish country dance come party. Various concerts and activities take place regularly in the Phipps Institute.
